Terroir : Clay and limestone
Varietal : Chardonnay
Age of the vineyard : 40 years

Wine from the hillsides of Péronne, aged in oak barrels for 12 months before being bottled. The blend of barrels aged 3 to 10 years gives us a very balanced wine with a nice length in the mouth.

This gives us notes of vanilla and ripe bananas as well as a touch of woodiness on the finish. This woody note also returns to the nose with the smoky aroma. Gold color dress.

Serving advice
The wine pairs perfectly with snails, oily fish, dishes in sauce and goat cheese. Serve between 11° and 12°.
Cellaring advice
To drink now or keep 2 to 5 years.

A Domaine that meets international expectations

It is clear that the Domaine du Bicheron is often present on the good tables of France, but also in European countries and the world: Japan, USA, Hong Kong, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Denmark... The domaine is often referenced by the guide Hachette and the English magazine Decanter, and obtains numerous medals in contests, including the Concours de Vins de Mâcon.
